Booking
- — A place is secured with a 25% deposit of the expedition fee.
- — The balance is due 60 days before the departure date.
- — Bookings are confirmed by email once the deposit is received.
- — We reserve the right to decline a booking if a participant's experience does not match the expedition's grade.
Payment
- — Payments are made by bank transfer or card via our secure portal.
- — All prices are in euros (€) and inclusive of applicable local taxes.
- — A single-room supplement, where available, is billed separately.
Cancellation by You
- — More than 90 days before departure: full refund minus a 5% administration fee.
- — 60–90 days before departure: 50% refund of the fee paid.
- — Less than 60 days before departure: no refund, but your place may be transferable to another suitable participant.
- — All cancellation requests must be made in writing.
Cancellation by Us
- — We rarely cancel, but if an expedition is undersubscribed or rendered unsafe, we will offer a full refund or a place on a future expedition.
- — We are not liable for costs incurred for flights or other non-refundable travel arrangements — this is why we strongly recommend travel insurance.
Insurance
- — Travel insurance is strongly recommended but not mandatory. We recommend appropriate cover for medical costs, cancellation and travel disruption.
- — Insurance is not a condition of participation, and no proof of insurance is required.
