What if I need help ?
As we have explained, this is your shoot, run by you. However, Luca Monti and the LPW team are never too far away if you need any assistance.
What kind of lighting is provided ? Can I bring my own ?
We are proud to be able to say that LPW events are technically light-years ahead of any of our competitors. We have lighting from Bowens, Broncolor, Profoto, Briese, Arri and Kinoflo. You are welcome to bring along any additional equipment you wish to use as long as you know how to use it. Remember, we don’t offer any tuition at these events.
Can I change the light or styling or the scenography ?
Yes, this is your shoot and you can make any changes you want to make it perfect. We only ask that you return everything to its original state at the end of your session.
Can I alter the Coloramas background ?
Alterations are not included in the price of the Meet the Model session. If you want to change the background, the studio price is 10GBP per metre used.
Can I bring my own models ?
If you have specific models you would like to use in addition to those provided by LPW, you may bring them along. However, you must accept full responsibility for their well-being and safety during the shoot.
Can I bring other creatives along ?
If you want to bring assistants or other creatives along with you, you may. However, they will each have to pay a booking fee. If you prefer to bring your own crew, please contact us and to discuss the possibility of a discounted fee.
What is Meet the Model ?
An LPW Meet the Model event makes you the director of your own private photo shoot. This is a unique and affordable opportunity to really let your own personal creative vision shine through.
We give you access to the best styling, lighting, props and models in the businesswith the added advantage of a very skilled assistant in the shape of our own Luca Monti !
If you want a photographic experience which gives you the time, the freedom and the tools to really test your skills, look no further. With Meet the Model, the sky really is the limit!
Who is Meet the Model for ?
To get the most out of this unique opportunity, you need to feel confident behind the lens and comfortable enough to use your own judgment on the shoot. Having said that, we’re not going to leave you completely on your own; our team will be available to offer you technical support and useful tips if you need us.
This is one of our most popular events and many of our customers come back again and again to work with different models, with different styling and in different locations.
How does the session work ?
It’s brilliant in its simplicity. You book an hour-long session either alone or shared with another photographer. When you arrive, we will show you the studio and equipment, introduce you to the model and our team and then leave you to your shoot. You get to work in our studio with professional equipment, models and crew at a fraction of the normal cost of a shoot.
The model for this workshop will be : Angel
Time: from 6.30pm to 9.30pm
Model: for this workshop our model will be Alessia Lugoboni, professional dancer from Royal New Zealand Ballet.

It is not important which camera you will bring along with you and we are very keen to welcome film cameras whether it is a 35mm camera or a medium format camera, arrangements can be made to hire cameras if you don’t own one or if you want to try something different, please ask when booking.
If you have a Compact, Hybrid or Bridge camera you can still take part in this course, we guarantee to show how to get fantastic pictures with all types of cameras.
We suggest to have a lens that will allow you to crop to half length and full length figure. This would ideally be a 24-70mm (Full frame) or 18-55mm (APS size).
We will provide you with a RF trigger to work with the studio flashes in our studio if you don’t have your own.
No need to worry, just bring your creativity and your passion for photography !
